SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Gadsden Junior Golf, Inc. will sponsor two, five hundred dollar scholarships, the David Faucett Memorial Scholarship and the George Moon Memorial Scholarship.  The scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors that participate in junior golf in Etowah County. The scholarships will be a one time, five hundred dollar gift in the student’s name to the college or university of the student’s choice. Failure to meet attendance requirements will result in the loss of the scholarship.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

            1. Academic achievement.

            2. Participation in extra-curricular activities.

            3. Exhibited leadership ability.

            4. Overall golf participation.

Applicant: Attach your high school transcript, GPA, and a personal letter telling about yourself and why you want this scholarship. Also include a letter of recommendation from a former teacher, community leader or minister.
